Our Projects:
- Release information to public to
promote responsible pet ownership.
- Offer free spaying and neutering
to those in need through applications. Stoughton and Oregon
areas only.
- Encourage pet owners (through
handouts, ads, letters to the editor, etc.) to have their
animals spayed or neutered.
- Educate against abandonment and
cruelty
- Write letters to officials and
sign petitions to enforce anticruelty practices.
- Offer a live trap to catch stray
or injured animals. We charge a small daily fee and deposit.
(The deposit is returned to you.)
- Give hints as to how one can
find homes for animals when needed.
- Encourage people to report abuse
and step in for animal's safety.
- Sponsor 2 low-cost rabies
clinics in February or March and October.
- Give hints (and encouragement)
to those searching for lost pets.
- Warn against free puppy and
kitten offers.
- Offer free booklets on many
subjects at rabies' clinics and garage sales.
- Supply 2 city food pantry's with
cat and dog food upon request.
- Sponsor public service programs
on Cable TV.
- Work hand-in-hand with local
veterinary clinics to help needy pet owners.
- Offer materials containing
solutions to pet problems.
- Supply pets home alone wallet
cards.
- Offer a short (edited) home
video on the birth of kittens. (No charge.) Use this as a
teaching tool after you spay your pet.
